4. FUTURE

           Future, what lies beneath the word itself? Future has many definitions and could be defined in many perspectives. Mankind's future, country's future, political's future and others. Though everyone's future is unpredictable but at some point it seems predictable as the proverb goes saying "to shape one's future begins with a single step." Thus, everything you did until now and what you are doing now would eventually have their repercussions, sooner or later. Some people said that the future is more frightening than it is interesting, isn't it? From my point of view, I personally think that the future would indeed bring more terror than joy and I have several reasons to justify this.


          The first tip of the iceberg is due to the development of technology, economics, and the increasing of mankind population. To meet the aforementioned requirements, mankind will need a huge supply of resources and certainly the depletion rate of those resources will shoot past its boundary. Therefore, we speed up the exploitative rate of natural resources and eventually those resources will come into exhaustion since nothing is limitless. Frankly speaking, I'm sick of these nationwide uncontrolled developments - waking up every morning to the loud sounds of bulldozers churning up the once bountiful land. I endlessly mourn the destruction of the land and the subsequent erection of all nameless houses ; all arranged in neat sterile rows.

          Next, is due to the conflict between the Western and the Islamic. Those war has been raged endlessly since two to three decades ago not to mention the numerous times a coup d'etat has been declared. We often heard about these nowadays but have we done anything actually in fulfilling our obligations as a Muslim, or do we just turn a blind eye against this mass murder, mass massacre and the mass oppression by the world's protagonist a.k.a the backstabbing bastard so called the "American dreams." ? After all, the 9/11 incidence was just a camouflage to hide greater evils. 'They' said Muslims were terrorists and these false, blatant lies spreaded swiftly across the world, like a plague - so that therefore they could erupt a war using such ultimatum. To emphasize this, since nowadays is a world where you can have everything at your fingertips, undeniably if you are a Muslim, you must have seen a horrendous, live-murder video of Muslims being killed were uploaded to the net for instance Facebook and YouTube.

          Thirdly, is due to the political uproar and the crisis within the country happened across the world ; both including democratic and republic countries. The endless corruption, bribery, abuse of power ; the trends which tremendously happened continuously non-stop since two to three decades ago not to the mention the latest 'fear-of-cronies' practices been plunged painstakingly by some undeniably-a-coward ruler. These leaderships without integrity are what will make this world turned topsy-turvy anytime soon. They will not easily step down from their position and if that's going to happen, there's always nepotism as an option. Nepotism is a patronage bestowed or favoritism shown on the basis of family relationship, as in business and politics. Everybody should get equal rights there. Therefore we need to stop these racial prejudices and racial superiority complexes practiced by them.

       In the nutshell, based on what I have written, I hope that the world would be vouched that future is more frightening that it is interesting. I might be a nostalgic person, so it sounds I love the world in the past than the world in the future. Everytime I stretch my vision out on the fields and landscape, just only one dream arising in my mind - The world, please do not change.
